Cleaning for a reason

The other day I received an email from my cousin Carol that I thought was worth passing on here.

If you know any woman currently undergoing chemo, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning -- 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.

All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service.

Please pass this information on to bless women undergoing cancer treatment. This organization serves teh entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women.

It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there who care. Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along.

My ultimate hope would be that NO one would ever need this but for those who do please share with them. Maybe you know someone who knows someone else who can take advantage of this.

Sandee, good point, maybe someone will catch wind of this and help those guys out too

Acadia, I agree, this was the first I had ever heard of it so I was sure that there were others who hadn't as well

I hope more people will be aware of this great service.

I wanna wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas (I know it's still too early) but I'll be leaving for my hometown next week and I doubt I'd be able to get online.

Thanks for the prayers.

My mother "gave" me a cleaning lady for a year when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40; first mammo. I cannot tell you how invaluable this offer of free service is to anyone undergoing treatment. I'm going to add this to my Pink Think Lens on Squidoo. Thanks for passing this on Ann!!
*Get 'em squashed ladies, it's important :o)
