Bath house

Over the weekend we did some more yard work. Cleaning the bird bath was one of the jobs that needed to be done. Duke was the one that pointed out how dirty it was.
Just look at all those happy birds out there now that they have a clean bath.
Duke is quite satisfied with a job well done. Now we can just chill out and enjoy the view.

It's good that Duke drew your attention to that birdbath ~ what a happy bunch of birds you have now!
I love the photo of Duke & the birdbath. It's totally worthy of a frame. He's SO cute!

I'm off to take pictures with my new camera...I love it! Thanks for asking about it!

Your birds look so happy! And Duke is beyond precious, all the way to priceless. His little pink tongue makes me laugh!

Duke sure seems drawn to water. Maybe he can train the birds to float about on tiny rafts. :)

That's a nice birdbath. That's something we need to get for our feathered friends. I did most of my yard work yesterday: trimming bushes, weeding, etc. I'm paying the price for it today. I can't believe how sore I am!
I really could have used Duke's help :)

Isn't Duke just a sweetie for thinking of the birds :)
We don't have a bird bath - just way to many birds! It would have to be the size of a swimming pool LOL

Oh, POOR Duke! He didn't get a good spray from the hose? Mean Mommy!!Hahaaa

Duke is such a good helper! We need to clean ours out too. It is green and slimy. Our birds hate us!

Don't send Duke to mine, I don't want to know about all the cleaning that needs to be done!

Sandee, yep Duke's on top of things around here

Marie those birds were loving it on Saturday, it was a hot day but they had the cool water to splash in

Leeuna he's good at that

urban cowboy yep, he did good

Lin yes he is, sometimes too good

jenniferw the birds were pretty happy and Duke's a keeper

LDH lol that would be pretty cool if Duke could pull that off

tahtimbo I know what you mean about paying for it, I was weeding again and my back is killing me

Nico designs he would enjoy that

Vanilla, oh yeah, that could turn out badly

beaded tail Duke is the model of efficiency, takes note of all the details I seem to miss

junezach Duke says thanks

fishhawk well you tend to crack me up on a regular basis so it's only fair

Russ now if only I could teach him to dust

DKMiller well I'm hoping I get some more shots of them

Sugar Duke is too short to drink from ours otherwise I'm sure he would

Alterity button jewelry believe me he has LOTS to point at here

Audrey well I guess the birds could use our pool if the bird bath gets too dirty for them again

Donna I had him out there with me and had to put him in the house because the water coming out of the bird bath was disgusting and he was standing right in it's path. He did get to swim later on though

Angel ours was green and slimy now if I can keep up with it

bossy betty I think I heard one tweeting a thank you to him ealrier

BBoysMom Maybe some of his ancestors were pointers...lol

earthtoholly that's not all my yard, it just looks big because there are no fences anywhere in the neighborhood so your seeing mine and about 3 others.

Theresa LOL he'll be busy keeping me on my toes for quite a while

Marg he was quite proud of himself for being so on top of things.
