This is one of the top 10 birding sites, I would love to be there during migration. Guess I should have loaned you the kayaks or did you have a boat?I could hang out with a boogie board real easy. So whats next, parasailing?

All I need is a boat and I'm a happy camper. Beautiful. Did Duke get to go too?

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I've been in Presque Isle, Maine - didn't know there was a PA one as well...I'm doing a Barbarino on this...

Fun and (some)sun! It's much to hot to enjoy any outside time around these parts. 102 today....ughh!!!

And it's the stickiest, most humid hot you've ever known!!!

I've never been in that part of the country but I sure would like to. Not even many boats on the water which makes it that much better!

What a great photo! Looks like a postcard but better!
Your previous photos are really beautiful...amazing how you were able to capture the bird mid-flight!

Beautiful photo ~ I love the rippling texture in the water and the fluffy clouds in the sky with the band of land dividing the two!

That is a great photo. So how is your rest from overload going?? Hope you are getting some time to do nothing. There is nothing better. Go sit out in the yard with Duke. Do nothing.

out on the prairie, I had no idea they had that ranking. No boat, we were walking. They have a yearly celebration there, food, crafts, and various other activities.

Sandee no, Duke sat this one out. Too big of a crowd there that day

Grace I didn't realize there was a Presque Isle Maine

Tanyia, yeah I bet. How far away from Virginia Beach are you now? That's a great spot

Urban cowboy. I don't really know. I can tell you that Erie has a diving club that does a New Years day thing. I always thought those people were crazy going in that freezing water

Roschelle I could handle the 102 temp it's the humidity that gets me every time

jean well if you ever head this way I'll gladly give you a tour

Beaded tail it's funny how the thrill of a place can wear off when you've lived there all your life. I see the pictures you post and think how much I would love to visit there

Duni it would make a good postcard. even better sitting there and watching it for real though

Fishhawk, lol is that a hint that you want a Duke post?

Miawa and I've never been to Florida. My aunt used to go every winter and I've always loved the pictures of the beaches she would bring back

Fullet no sea here but I'll settle for Lake Erie\

Sugar thanks, have a great day

Russ that does sound nice. I wish I was back there right now too

Donna not as much as I would like but then I doubt that I ever will...lol

LDH It's even better when you're sitting there and you get the effect of the lake breeze blowing through your hair :)

Marg not working as well as I thought it would :) Doing nothing would be nice but I think even that would stress me out right now...lol I'm hopeless.
