Brenda Photo Challenge (11-13) Broken

Time sure does have a way of sneaking up on me. I was determined to be ready this time around for the Brenda Photo Challenge. I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record here, always telling you how I put this together last minute. It's just a shame that I didn't have a photo of that broken record because that is the theme this time around BROKEN.
All of my thoughts on what to do for this one fell through and so at the last minute I came up with this.

Yes, I wrote the word broken on a piece of paper with some broken lines. That's not all though, When I was done I broke the pencil.

Then, for lack of anything better I put the two photos together for a little edit.

I'm going to go with the excuse here that I've been on medication since my dentist appointment on Wednesday. I've been doing a lot of sleeping as well so I haven't managed to accomplish much while I've been off.
Tomorrow I'm headed to Volant Village Shops. I went last year and you can read about that trip HERE. This weekend is their Christmas on Main Street. I'm hoping to get some really good pictures that will lead to lots of blog posts. I'm also hoping to find a few things for Christmas. I know I said I was planning on making as many gifts as I can but I never said I wouldn't buy myself a nice gift.

I really like what you did with those photos. I have to admit that I do some of my best work while medicated :)
I hope you begin to feel better...those dental visits can be brutal.

I swear I could learn to do things like combine 2 pictures like that but I just don't have the patience to learn how, aside from the fact that I don't know a vector from that other thing.

Yes, yes - buy yourself a nice present. I always have to buy my own presents otherwise I don't get any or they are just bloody awful!

Very clever to combine those photos! I would never thought of doing that but yet I don't even know how to do that. I hope you get to feeling better soon! Enjoy your shopping trip tomorrow and hope you find yourself and nice gift!

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you send some of your "good" meds this way? Yeah, we have all sorts of prescriptions to fill each month, but none of them seem to have as much of an effect as what you've got.

Donna, maybe I should just stick with coming up with my entry at the last minute..lol

Miawa frugal is not in my vocabulary today, I'll do my best to find myself a gift

donna thanks it really was just a last minute thought

char thank you and I surely will

shinade oh I bet you would have :) Yes anyone can join the challenge and there's always a couple weeks in between so you have lots of time to prepare

reeni I suppose not bad for last minute :) thanks and I hope so too

booker man I'm full of something anyway...lol I'll try really hard to find myself a gift, maybe something for Duke too

sharkbytes thanks, and I know what you mean

tahtimbo thank you. Yes dentist visits are never fun

grace I'm sure you could especially since I did and I'm not a patient person and I don't know the difference between a vector and that other thing either. My program doesn't do vectors :)

beaded tail and I would never think to combine some of the beads the way you do to make your lovely jewelry. I tried once and everything came out all bent and twisted

Amanda I know which store you're talking about, hmmm, I wonder what I might find in there :)

fishhawk actually my meds probably aren't as good as I make them sound. I never get any that are REALLY good.

Ann, I love you did here for Brenda's Photo Challenge, combining two photos. I thought it would be fairly easy to do, but I really to scout around.

Thanks for visiting my submission for Brenda's photo challenge and I definitely hope to keep submitting for future challenges.
