Two down four to go

I finished the second of my six projects this morning and delivered it to the girl at work. She seemed quite thrilled with them.
This is all I'm going to show you though.

Because Duke says he wants to do the presentation

Guys can wear pink too.

The design of this scarf is simple, nothing fancy but it's so thick and soft.
I bought some of the chunky weight yarn and put it together with a plain pink regular yarn. It may be a little on the heavy side but the thickness is awesome.

How pretty and pink is my favorite color. Duke did an excellent job with the presentation. I know you would get things done. I just knew it.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

OK, Ann. Now I know we must be twins separated at birth. I have a completed post draft of a houndstooth scarf I just finished for Raider. I was feeling a little strange crocheting a scarf for my dog, but now I have courage to share it. Duke and Raider might become trend setters!

I was planning on posting later this week but I think I will do it now :)

I love the pattern on the one you made. It is beautiful!

Beautiful! As is Duke. No wonder your co-worker loved the presents - how thoughtful you are. If ever there was a winter for a heavy scarf, this is it!

Has Duke considered a career in modelling? Great photos!

Oh, it's beautiful!! I love the colors. I don't know how you got the stripes so even! Most scarves like that are too thin, so this would be just perfect for very cold weather. Duke is a vision of pastel!!

I don't know how simple it is (as I can't knit) but it is sure 'oh so cute'! And Duke always makes a wonderful model. It does look warm!

Sandee I like pink as well and it ranks up there with my favorites

LDH LOL I loved your scarf for Raider I think Duke may need one of those now

Ann oh yeah, thick scarf weather for sure

Alan he has but he says they could never pay him well enough to make it worth his time...lol

ginny I used a variegated yarn so the stripes just ended up wherever, the yard pretty much did that work for me

catherine I tried it out before I handed it over and I loved how thick it was

tahtimbo the looms are very easy to use. I'm sure you would have no trouble with it at all

gayle me too, and thanks

beaded tail yes he did quite well with the modeling and he did get a reward for a job well done

cheryl duke wasn't thrilled with the assignment at first but after a little talk he was willing to cooperate

T thanks, Duke did do a good job

Amanda LOL, are you saying you want a pink scarf?

Jen thanks, I love variegated yarns, no need to switch colors...lol Yes Duke did get the memo and he's happy to wear his pink

Fishhawk, he does seem to be one of those guys who can pull anything off

duni thank, duke was pretty proud of his job

philippa, thanks

sandra I agree that duke needs his own, it's only fair that he should be rewarded for his performance

russ I bet with all that shoveling you've been doing a thick scarf is a necessity

Duke is most handsome. :D Oh yeah, the scarf is lovely too.

Sharkbytes said...

Very cool! How do you finish the ends? Just sew?

Reeni said...

How pretty! The scarf and the dog! I wish I could just give Duke a big bear hug - such a cutie!

DSS said...

I don't think I've seen a scarf that thick before. It looks so war and toasty :) So, did Duke request that you make one for him? Because he looks rather comfortable in the scarf!

Tammy said...

It's wonderful! Duke you look very good in pink :)

Ann said...

Miawa brrr is right

Lynn thanks to both

sharkbytes you use a crochet hook to pull the end of the scarf off the loom so just fasten off the way you would in crochet

reeni duke would enjoy that

dss guess if you want them that thick you gotta make em yourself :)
No requests from Duke yet

tammy he says to tell you thanks
