Made it

On a beautiful day (when I don't have to go to work) I find it fun to take some of my crafty stuff out on the deck and play.
Recently I took this out with me

When I was done playing I had this.
Just a little experiment that turned into a cute bracelet.
For anyone who crochet's here's how I did it.
I don't recall what size hook I used but it was a small one.
With 3 strands of crochet thread held together chain 45 (more or less depending on the size of your wrist). Then single crochet in each chain across, fasten off and weave in ends.
Attach ring to one end and clasp to the other. Sew a button in the center of bracelet with matching thread and you're done.
Now you've got a brand new cute bracelet for summer. Perfect considering today is the first day of this wonderful season.

What a wonderful post to kick off summer with!! My mom would have known how to make this, she crocheted all the time! This is beautiful, cool, cute, original, and hip all at once! It reminds me of cool water and southwestern jewelry!

Totally adorable... If I knew how to crochet I would make those for my granddaughter. She'd love showing it off to her friends.

Wow, that turned out really cute. Don't you just love to crochet outside? I do! The light is so much better than inside my apartment.

Tell Duke we love him and give him a scratch behind the ears...

Take care and keep on creating!

How cute. I tried to crochet once. It was really pitiful. Two left thumbs. I can see the crafty side of life right here. And visit Duke too.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

That is cute - I don't understand the instructions but then my crochet skills are limited (I'm actually crocheting a blanket right now...)

That is an adorable little bracelet! I used to crochet when I was a kid but don't think I would know how to start now. I sure wish you'd open an Etsy shop so we can purchase your creative treasures!

You make it sound so simple! Knowing me, the cat would end up playing with the button and I would end up with ball of thread tied in a big knot :-)

I really like that. The bracelet looks better than a lot of things that could be bought in the store. Not many people could do something so well.

That is such a cute bracelet. What a great result from playing. I agree with Sharla, that you should put some of your things on Etsy. They are really well done. Hugs to Duke.

Amazing. This would make a very attractive dog collar. I can't think which dog, but it might need to be waterproofed.
