Early to bed and early to rise

Another early start to the day again.
First stop the deck with a cup of coffee and the laptop. It may be daylight in the picture but it was dark when I started

Next it was the weekly trip to the store. Shopping is a tough job but somebody has to do it.

Back home and hit the deck for a little quilling. I didn't get much done since my son called and asked if him and his girlfriend could come over and swim.
Duke enjoys entertaining in the pool

The pool got plenty of use today. My son, his girlfriend and her daughter and two others came over. He brought food and he cooked AND did the dishes afterward. I got a picture of the dishwashing, since that was the first time I think I've seen that in my house.

Duke found an intruder in the yard and chased him out. He'll be back. His home is under our shed.
Tomorrow will be another early day but it sure isn't going to be as fun

Oh Litlle bunny we hope you ran fast away from Duke. Thought he was busy in the pool. Glad he didn't catch you. Hope all have a super evening, sounds like a great day. Take care.

That pool would be nice on a hot day like today... It looks so refreshing...

Glad you had a great day... If my sons were to wash the dishes after cooking a meal at my home, I'd take pictures also... ha
Hugs,
Betsy

Mondays are never as fun, but when you have a great weekend, and you did, it sure makes the week easier.

Have a terrific day. My best to tired Duke. All that entertaining and chasing of rabbits he had to do. :)

We used our pool a lot this weekend too. But with the temps so high it was kind of like taking a bath - without bubbles of course!

Sheesh, I'll bet Duke was EXHAUSTED after such a busy day!!

What's with the rabbits this year?? We have a bunch of them. Hobbes keeps trying to get one. What he's gonna do with it, I don't know. I don't think he knows either.

Being in a pool would be great this time of year.

What a lot of cool fun was going on at your house! And that rabbit picture looks like it is straight out of a Beatrix Potter book!

I love getting up early on weekends! It makes them last so much longer in my opinion!

Whoa, I was starting to get a little concerned. For you said that your son and his girlfriend came over to swim in your pool, and then I see that little girl in the pool. Yeah, you cleared it up in the next paragraph, but where Duke points, I look.

Dear Ann & Duke,
That's what's nice about summer, it's light early, at least in the north!

Thank you so much for visiting my Saturday Centus posts. They are the most I have had time for while I'm moving. (There is still so much left to do, and I am having trouble getting help. Summer is the season for moving and I did not understand that I should have booked movers weeks and weeks ago. One mover is coming early tomorrow morning (7:15 a.m.), but if he and I don't get it all done tomorrow, no one else has time.
Love your photos, Ann. Great shot of the rabbit (I saw a hare in the under brush at the new apartment early one morning.) and the hisbiscus in an earlier post.
Hugs,
Anna

"Duke enjoys entertaining in the pool"....hysterical! He does look as if he's having a lovely time :)

We have a rule that "cooks don't clean". Dishes that is. I'm very glad to hear that rule was broken at your house this weekend. Because really...sometimes you just deserve to be spoiled!
