Double Duke dare ya

If one Duke is good then two must be better.
Duke has a new friend and his name is Duke too. When we went to visit Wade's friend Carl (the guy with the tree) his neighbors dog came across the street to check things out. They got along really well and were fun to watch together.
Both of them had to check pee mail at this rock.

Seeing eye to eye. Or maybe that's nose to nose?

Now you all know that I love my Duke but I have to say that this other Duke is a real sweetheart too.
The woman who owns him said that he was a stray that they found in their yard one morning. She said that he was pretty beat up when they found him. He's looking happy and healthy now.

OMG, that is a Rotweiller! I would have been hysterical that they would fight. I'm glad the other Duke was not agressive. Your Duke is so much cuter!!

Ann, that Bernie said one was me, I once had that blog, but I never did anything with it and if I forget to put in my ID it pops up. Just wanted you to know that was me.

Really makes me miss our rottweilers. They were just so wonderful at socializing with all other breeds of dogs. :-)

Oh, the other Duke is cute too! He has beautiful eyes! Rotties are usually the biggest sweeties ever! It's fun seeing the two Dukes together!

Sounds like Duke the 2nd was a very lucky pup to be found by someone special!

That looks like a purebred Rottweiler - such nice dogs - a bit mouthy as our vet said - but sweethearts!

Hey, they look like pals already! So did they both get the name because of their John Wayne swagger, LOL?

They look like best buds! The other Duke is so lucky that your neighbor kept him and obviously took great care of him. Another lucky dog! :)

It always amazes me how tall a little dog can stand as he stands up to a big dog! LOL Duke needs a Duke I think! ;D

More like Mutt-n-Jeff if you ask me. *grin*. I'm going to say that I like the pint-sized version much better, but maybe I'm just a teensy bit biased ;o)

Yeah, I think Duke could take him.

Two Dukes. What could be better and he is almost as handsome as our Duke. Glad they got along so well. The other Duke is quite handsome. Take care.

I do so love rescue dog stories and the thought of TWO Dukes in the world makes me happy, they look so cute together, total opposites in size and color and loving each other.

What fun the Dukes look like they are having:) I adore how "little Duke" isn't scared of big Duke one bit. My little man is the same way! The bigger his friends are, the better!!
