A visual time out

Going back to work after having time off feels like you're starting at the bottom and working your way to the top all over again.

A walk on the beach always clears my mind and refreshes my senses.

I couldn't be there physically so I did the next best thing and took a walk through some pictures.
Not really quite the same but it'll have to do.

Hope you enjoyed our walk on the beach even though the water is getting a little cold now.

We are having a heatwave here. I'm guessing it's probably 100 degrees outside. Should break by this weekend. It's hot.

Sorry you are back at work. I know you enjoyed those extra two days off. Way cool.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

Heading back must be hard. Hope the week is better than you anticipate :)

I love going to the beach on the off season. It's so much nicer not tripping over the hundreds of sunbathers.

Thanks Ann, that walk on the beach was so peaceful. That was fun. I sure hope you don't have to go to the top of that contraption. Don't work too hard.

I always enjoy a walk on the beach or down the pier to the lighthouses in my area. It's my favorite place to be. It seems like you can think so much clearer there.

Yes, I enjoyed our walk together.

The anticipation of returning to work is the worst. Once you are there, it's like you never left. Unfortunately.

Try to have fun and make the best of the day, pally!

I can watch the ocean for hours - I just won't go in it or on it! Lovely...the sight, the sound, the smell - Ahhh!

I love walking on the beach. Someday, I'll get to one again.
I love that first photo...is it a tower of some kind? I think B&W always seems to bring out more emotion and seems to capture more realism in pictures (sounds weird, I know).
Thanks for the great pictures :)

I can almost hear that water washing onto the beach! Shame about you having to go back to work, but never mind - it's almost the weekend!

I was here, which makes everything else (except for Duke, of course) inconsequential.
