fallen angel

I have a cheap dollar store angel that I put on my bathroom shelf at Christmas time a couple  years ago and it never got put away. It didn't look real Christmassy and when I packed everything up I kept forgetting it was there. She was guardian angel of the bathroom, protecting all that shower from slips and falls.
That is until I came home from work the other day and found ...
Amanda is temporarily staying with us and she left me this note on my desk. Now I obviously went wrong somewhere with her. Why the heck didn't she glue her back together and put her on the shelf like nothing ever happened. I'm having visions of falling and breaking a hip in the shower now that my bathroom guardian angel is gone.

Yikes! Be careful not to fall! Love how Amanda called her "the thing"! LOL

I'm sure you've already glued this back together and she's now guarding the bathroom as before. Just my two cents.

Have a terrific day and my best to Duke. :)

She did the right thing, confessed so her conscience wouldn't bother her. I wonder if you could quickly glue her back together, though she looks hollow. Maybe a hot glue gun? Or spring for a couple bucks and buy a pretty new one, now that there are lots of angel things out there right now!

I've always had a kitchen angel - while pretty not much help...

Amanda is not like my girls. They learned at a very young age how to use super glue and did such a great job repairing all of the stiff they broke that some things took me years to notice :) There are few things in my home that haven't been glued back together.

Hope your angel gets back on her feet soon!

We always have super glue in our home. It is so handy! I would let Amanda try and fix it. :)

Alas, children often go astray, regardless of how well they were raised. Puppies, on the other hand, would never consider leaving an incriminating note, and cats... Oh, don't get me started on cats!

Nice of your daughter to leave you a note ;-)
It's a clean break though -- easy to fix. Better glue her back together quickly before you take your next shower!!

Your Amanda is so sweet and honest...she did exactly what my Amanda would have done.

Me? I'd have done just what you said. Glued the little gal back together again and put her right back where she belonged!

Have a wonderful weekend Ann! Maybe you and Amanda should go shopping for a new angel!

Hey, there's nothing wrong with honesty! She has great writing too. My kids have been staying here since Wednesday. It's been quite different for us empty nesters!

Enjoy your time with her and btw...that's a great pic of Duke below.

It certainly looks like she can be glued together easy enough. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be safe showering until she dries.

She was hollow. I think Amanda stole the fortune!

She could of blamed it on Duke! Tee-hee. That's what I would of done. Or I would of hid it. I'm naughty like that.
