my achy breaky arm

I went to work yesterday and I was whining  commenting to one of the girls about my arm hurting and I couldn't understand why. I said that I hadn't done anything strenuous, just baking all day. She asked if I had mixed all my cookie dough by hand and then I realized that must have been it. Now I know I"m getting old when I can't even handle a day of mixing cookie dough without over taxing muscles. Geesh.
So if I appear to be leaning to one side for the next couple of days like my picture here, don't mind me. Help yourself to the cookies and pass me the Ben-Gay please

Sorry about the arm, but it looks like it was worth it :)

One bowl of cookie dough and I'm done for for the next ten minutes - its that stiff consistency - so not surprised a day of it gave you the aches *hugs*

Wow, you have been busy! I only usually bake one type of cookie a day :)
The ones with the chocolate? center look yummy!

Kitties are really good at kneading dough. They are also really good at mixing ingredients, as long as you sprinkle a little cat litter on top.

Sorry to hear about your arm - esp. during the holidays with everything going on ... try some Bayer Back & Body - over the counter ... it saved me when I had hurt my back.

Happy baking ... will do my cookies this weekend.

You aren't old... your arm is just complaining because you asked it to decorate the tree and then make all those cookies... it isn't fair... you didn't even ask - lol
Hugs, antonella :-)

Precisely why I bought a nice big mixer. Making bread dough was becoming a mamoth chore with aches all round. Oh the joys of aging. lol

They look yummy indeed. Sure wish I could have one of each for real. Yep, I can see that stirring all that dough would make your arm sore. You're not used to doing that everyday.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

Just like tennis elbow, you have cookie dough arm.

That is probably true. You have cookie dough elbow. Sorry you have a hurty arm from making all those yummy cookies. We are sure everyone is going to enjoy those delicious looking morsels. Glad I didn't make cookies this year. Take care.

I'm such a wimp I have to have my husband help if I need to mix more than one bowl so I'm impressed you did as much as you did by hand! Your cookies look yummy!

That's so funny!! I use a mixer now for my cookies--or I have Joe make them instead. He's got muscles. Hee! Hee!

Sounds like you will need some weight-lifting for next year's cookie-making!

By hand? I am so lazy I never do that! Wish me luck - cookie baking starts tomorrow! Hope I get as much as you done!
