Would you please....

Hey Duke.
Duke?

 Duke, are you ignoring me?

What? I'm not doing anything.

I know you aren't doing anything Duke. So would you please go pick your toys up off the living room floor.

Well at least they aren't on the steps this time. It's a wonder I haven't broken my neck tripping on all the toys he leaves laying around. And always in the most inconvenient places.

Duke, we think your mom is just jealous that she's not able to play with her toys all day like you are! You are such a cutie pie!

You need one of those long grabbers!!!! They are good for everything, especially cleaning baseboards.

at least you have some toys to leave around. Last i counted.. i only have one new stuffie and a noisy ball which is now a white elephant somewhere in the hall. You are a lucky Duke to have many toys.

I like Duke's choice of toys. The rope toys are some of my dog's favorites. She's a monstrous chewer though, so they never last long.

Yep, methinks BeadedTail is right about this one.

Children never like to pick up their toys (no matter how many legs they have *grin*).

Hi there Duke. We know you didn't leave those toys all over the place. There must be a ghost at your house that is spreading the toys around. You are one cutie patootie Duke. Hope all of you have a super day.

The times we have nearly tripped over toys in the night.....our own fault though, we should do a round up of things before we retire. lol
I love the pictures of Duke, keep em coming..

duke looks gorgeous today. so sweet and we have the same thing here, but it is hard bones that hurt really really bad when stepped on in the dark. also Jake has 4 old shoes in his toy basket and they are left in trails all over the house. we find them in chairs and on the sofa or in the kitchen. he moves them from place to place. oh what fun to have a canine in the house.

Please don't bother the talent, ma'am. If you want to speak with Duke, you'll need to contact his agent. Thank you.

You should see our living room floor. Remember the snack ball on my blog recently? I almost tripped on that, and then I accidentally kicked it and it went flying!
(it's dark here in the mornings)

Inconvenient for whom???

Yep, I can relate to this. We have the exact same issue here. We put them away and Little Bit goes and gets them and puts them all over the place. Yep.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I think every westie comes with this in their DNA ... just think if you had more than one westie what your floors would be like!

I think he likes the toy decorations.I tried a basket but it kept staying empty. Now I put them behind the couch and they slowly find their way out.

Harley strews his toys all over the house, too!

My father-in-law had a dog trained to put his toys in his box. I can't even train myself to do that.

Banjo doesn't pick up his toys either. Oh these spoiled furry babies! Ha!

My cats do the same thing with their toys. At least I don't have to contend with stairs. Bet that can be scary.

We have the same problem in my house except with cat toys!

I do more picking up of toys now than when I had little kids!! Looks like I am not alone in this.

Hey Duke! Don't worry about the toy thing. I leave mine all over the house too. Mom likes to keep them in this cute painted wooden crate in the dining room, but I always get them out and spread them all over. I especially love to do this after she has just cleaned the house. We gotta leave our mark, right?

Yeah, my dog leaves her toys all over the place too. She loves Tennis balls so one of these days I'm sure I'm going to step and fall on one.
