a sea of grape

Repeat of yesterday and this didn't post this morning like it was supposed to.
The flower bed, or rather weed bed that's in the front of my house is a sea of grape right now

Grape hyacinth that is. I've never seen as much of it in there as I do this year.

can you hear me screaming??? i watched the video, and found myself counting the purple thingys on potted plant and i counted 12 on each and thought OMG not 12, then it said 25 on each and I said OMG, Not Me... see you i am running to the store to buy a pot of hyacinths to sit in my kitchen. Patience is NOT my middle name. have you made one yet? it is pretty abd your photos are gorgeous and so are the flowers.

We have a sea of weeks, but we also have a bunch of daisies that make me smile. Enjoy the beautiful color.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I was screaming with delight before the picture even finished loading. Love, love, Love hyacinth, especially purple - beautiful and they smell divine!

Those are some mighty fine instructions on how to make those gorgeous grapes. What a good idea. But I hate to say this, but we like the real thing. Those in your yard are gorgeous. Take care.

These photos are stunning! I didn't think anything is prettier than our Texas blue bonnets but I do believe these beat all!

Going to watch the video. Is it something I will want to try? LOL

I am so behind :)

The same here. I have these exact same photos to post, you must have followed me!!! They are usually kind of rare, but there are more now and I don't know why. Gosh, this origami is painstaking work, are you going to try it?

I love Grape Hyacinths --and we have some in our yard. I do know that they do spread---so where you have them must be a great place for them...

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Soooo, are these in the garden? Or in the lawn? That is the true measure on if this is a nuisance plant or not.

My neighbor has them in the grass--I say "WEED"! ;) But a lovely weed at that!

One of my favorite little plants! Ann, I haven't abandoned you. I am trying to visit all the A-Z blogs and it's a killer. I'll get caught up with you once I get through that list.

My grape hyacinth seems to have become overpowering this year...so much so that I am going to have to dig it out and split it when the flowering is finished. I love how pretty it is though!

The colour is beautiful!
My post was supposed to publish on the blog at 8, but nothing happened, so I had to do it manually.
