Doodles

Sometimes when Wade and I are sitting around doing nothing but chatting I'll pick up some paper and a pen and just start to doodle.
It ends up looking something like this. I'm not sure why my initials are always included. In case you are wondering what that thing is supposed to be on the top right corner, I was trying to draw a little plastic lantern that was sitting on the table.

Oh look, I know my a b c's or at least up to the letter e.

In the middle of the page I must have been doing a family portrait. Me Wade and Duke.

Even your doodles are talented. I have the same lantern, a big one and a small one.

Seems there is lots of innate talent there - the ABCDE page has lots of stuff with terrific potential - especially that big middle square...or even look at how well that door on the left side of the page is done...

i had not thought about my doodles for years. when i was on the phone i would do things like this, do pages of doodles while i talked, i even did it at work if i was on the phone, my work had doodles in the margins. i have not doodled a single doodle since i retired and did not even know it. i dont talk on the phone, we get maybe 2 calls a month. when i was living at home with my parents, i doodled in church, on whatever i could find, whie daddy was preaching i was filling the bullentin full of doodles and I always had my initials done in different ways.

I like your family doodle the very best. That's because Duke is featured.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

Your doodles suggest that you are in love, and that you see Duke as a cat! Do not show him that doodle.:-)Isn't doodle a lovely word?

I doodle all the time too. Duke looks kinda like a cat in that image. Of course, he is almost as cute as a cat anyway.

Cute, artsy and fun! Makes me want to get out my Copic markers and color, but it would make it hard to clean my monitor. LOL.

I used to doodle- don't seem to any more. I like the designs- color them in and they'd be great!

I like the family portrait. That is so terrific. All the doodles are good. I like to do that too but it never comes out to be anything. Take care.

I always used to doodle in school, my notebooks were filled with these intricate labyrinth type designs.

Duke sorta looks like a cat in that doodle! Hee! Hee!

Hey, ann--would you be interested in a blogger meet-up around Grand Rapids, MI? Sharkey said you are near there. It would be chuck, Rebecca, Vanilla, sharkey, and myself.

Send me your email address!

Looks like you do your doodling in a notebook. I like to doodle too, but I do it on scraps of paper and inevitably they get thrown away. Maybe I should keep a notebook handy and save my ddodles.

Doodling is so much fun --even for someone like me who has NO TALENT in the art area.... I remember doodling ALOT when I was taking some of those boring classes through the years, or sat through those boring meetings... ha
Hugs,
Betsy
