It's been too long

It has been far too long since I have done anything crafty. Thanks to a new blog I found (actually I think she found me and I returned the visit and liked it) I have broken the dry spell. The blog I'm referring to is I like to cut and paste and I do, I really do like to cut and paste. She recently posted a challenge to create 4th of July cards.
Here's what I came up with. Not one but four cards. Since Duke is one of the three patriotic colors it was only fitting that he should do the initial presentation.

After I finished with these I also made a birthday card and started on some little crocheted owls. Both will be another blog post though.
It's going to be a busy day today, so many things to get done. But first I need coffee.

Now...you mentioned a crocheted owl?!!! Bet that's gonna be a Hootin' treat for me to see it when you share it.

TMI??? sorry. love the cards, great idea. i thought you meant cut and paste in PS, Welcome back Duke, I have missed you in the post, Vanna Duke

so glad you've found your craft head again.
It's supposed to be really theraputic to craft I've heard.

Just a thought....Do you wash Dukes mouth as its always so lovely and white, often these white doggies have brown mouths.
I love him to bits....

I love all of your designs! They're so cheerful and fun. I also love to cut and paste. There's something about cutting paper that I find very therapeutic.

Those are cute little pinwheels. Since Om only celebrates C-mas and July 4, he would approve.
