Softer than....

A lambs ear.
I have these growing in my front yard.

I suppose I could have pulled the weeds out of them before I took the shot but it was an afterthought. Oh well maybe next time

Not sure if I've seen these here before - the leaves do look like little fuzzy ears :)

Do you know, I had no idea they flowered? I love Lambs Ear - it's so wonderfully soft (purty purty ;o)

I have been trying to remove this from my side garden (which has evolved to include far different plants than the original owner planted) for about 8 years now! I thought i pulled all the rhizome thingies out...so I guess it is here to stay! Yours looks great, by the way!

My daughter has these too...I'm going to transplant some to my house soon. Lamb's Ear is a great filler...it spreads like crazy!

We've got a lot of those weeds right now, too. Personally they don't bother me. Great photos as always. I love the pop of purple.

I like to touch them, but I think they are pretty invasive, aren't they? I think they are, so I don't have them in my garden.

I don't have any of those here but they look so soft and pretty!

Those are beautiful!

I thought those were only greenhouse plants. Very nice! And GREAT photos!! The "weeds" gave it filler - like the ferns and baby's breath does in a bouquet of roses. :)
