Sneak peek

Well the first two days of my vacation were spent being totally lazy and I loved every single second of it. Yesterday I did a lot of different little things and the only ones I managed to finish were cleaning related. Don't worry though I did NOT spend too much time cleaning.
I have several craft projects started so I'll give you a sneak peek at what I'm working on.

This one will end up being a Christmas present for a friend at work.

A dead branch off the pear tree in my back yard will be transformed into something. Sunday Wade cut part of it for me. I don't think he trusted me with his saw. I told him I hadn't decided how long I wanted the pieces yet so I pulled out his saw while he was at work and didn't cut anything I wasn't supposed to.

Paper projects.

OK, for this last one some of you are laughing, some are saying what the?????? and some are shaking their heads wondering if I've lost it. And yes, that is toilet paper.

It's extremely nice toilet paper though Ann.

Glad you are enjoying your vacation and spending it doing things you want.

You forgot to mention giving your blog a make-over. Loving the autumn theme and colours....a little sad to see the summer leaving though

I really like your new blog makeover for the season. Love the colors in it and nice pics at the headline. What the heck are you doing with that quilted tp? Can't wait to see that one.

Yes, one should not spend too much of their holiday time cleaning!!

But look at all your crafting you are doing. Wonderful.

I hope whoever receives the toilet paper doesn't have to use it too quickly! LOL!

Now everyone wants to know just what is the TP going to be. I bet it will be something terrific. Have a great vacation week. Sounds like fun.

i am scratching my head trying to figure out what you are making with the tied and roped toilet paper and also about the fact that men don't want us touching their saws and other tools. i go out to the tool box and come in with a screw driver or wrench and bob says What are you doing with that? duh... screwing someting or wrenching something. he says put it back where you found it... duh again. enjoy your play time

The toilet paper looks fabulous. Although, as a cat lover, I have to be partial to the I love my cat craft.

Be still my heart.....a project with toilet paper!!! What'll you come up with next? In all seriousness now....I can't wait to see what 'the END' result will be. Well, that WAS an intended play on words...but......

I want to know about the toilet paper that you have all secure. Can't use it with ease so it has some other purpose.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I was going to tie up a toilet roll once, but never got around to it.
He will know you used the saw, I hope you realise that?

Hahaha, use the saw while he's gone! I totally understand! And the toilet paper looks like a twine pumpkin in the making!

You are getting some craft work done and it looks so pretty.

I know what you are doing with the toilet paper - you are taking twenty dollar bills and then re-rolling the paper - then you are going to tie it pretty and sending it to me! Thank you.
