You call that a blizzard?

OK, yes, we got snow and it was a good amount. I don't really consider what we had a blizzard though. Maybe the conditions were right for one but what we got isn't anything we haven't seen before. I don't know the exact accumulation but I know it wasn't 14 inches

Happy Friday everyone

That's a lot of snow, Ann! We are supposed to get that next week!
I hope you had a lovely Christmas with your family :)

That sounded like a taunt to me. Perhaps it would behoove you to listen to Duke as he explains what could happen if He decides to accept your challenge.

Fresh snow always looks so pretty. But I still don't like it. LOL!

I heard on a news channel yesterday that it's not a blizzard unless there is a lot of wind with it. Did you get wind? We have been getting wind but no snow, so no blizzards happening here. I love the look of freshly fallen snow... it's soooo Norman Rockwell.

I don't care what you call it I don't want any part of it. I go out, get in the car, back in out of the garage, and go wherever I'm going without shoveling snow. I'm just saying.

Have a terrific Friday and stay warm. My very best to Duke. :)

I wish it would snow here. All we get is rain rain and more rain. Tricia gave me and EHS George sledges for Christmas. I wish it would snow!

Way more snow than we get around here - thankfully! Hope Duke is enjoying it!

That snow looks so pretty! I would love for my pups to run and play in it. :) One day. :)

Well to this ole southern gal, THAT is alot of snow... BUT--unless you had white-out conditions with blowing snow, etc... I don't think it was a 'blizzard' either....

When my son went through a real blizzard many years ago, trucks were even being turned over on the roads... He couldn't stand up outside since the wind was so strong.

Glad you are okay.
Happy New Year.
Hugs,
Betsy

Love the little prints in the snow! Glad that you didn't get as much as was expected.

That is a Michigan snow advisory.:) I think a blizzard has more to do with the wind and ice with the accumulation of snow. We got about five to six inches but the ice underneath is a pain.

You've still gotten a lot more than us so far. I'm not complaining though. We were expecting snow and I don't even think we got an inch. But I like it that way!

I think the news reporters over react. Or maybe they're bored. We were in a state of emergency before one drop of snow even fell. It gets everyone in a tizzy.
