coloring

It's still snowing here, it's still cold here, that big ball of sunshine didn't stick around. My energy and ambition even took off. Or maybe it left for good. Either way the most ambitious thing I've done recently is to sit in front of my computer and color.
I found a free digital stamp on Beyond the Fringe. I had it pinned to my stitching board and decided that I would try and color it instead of stitch it.
after I colored it in I added some texture, did a little burning on the edges and played around with it. This would qualify as one of those things I was accomplishing while I was supposed to be doing something else.

HI Ann...I took practically the whole of January off...but now I am trying to catch up with everyone and get into the swing of things again. Glad you're doing OK. Our snow disappeared over night in a load of rain...hope yours soon disappears too!!
Love the stamp...and Duke. xx

I can't wait for warmer weather, it's very windy over here. I like what you did with that 'stamp' image, it looks nice and warm. Have a great Sunday!

I am ready for Spring and so are the animals. I like your picture a lot. That is great. At least you are doing something. I still have to learn how to do that darn Photoshop. Take care.

I have needed to find inspiration and energy for quite a few weeks now too. And I don't know where to go find it. Perhaps it will be delivered back to my front door in March. Can I wait that long?

Well, after looking at your sunshine post below this, I can totally understand why your energy up and went!! Ewwww, glad I'm down South where the temps are in the mid 70s and sunny. Oh and let me throw in a sea breeze. Soft, tranquil, warm and subtropical. How's that for a winter?

Love your crafty coloring project here!!! That's pretty, and it'd look great embroidered on a hand towel for a kitchen...wouldn't it?

this is beautiful and now when i get my mojo back and find out what is wrong with baby, i will try something like this. baby is sick and my back still hurts so will be off for a few days... my heart is not in blogging now.

This is very cool!! I love both the pattern and the colors. Now you must think of some way to show it off or something you can do with it. It needs it's own niche somehow.

Well done! I went over to "Beyond the Fringe" and now I want to know what a digital stamp is and how you use it...

Which childhood is this for you--third or fourth?

Well I hope the sun comes out tomorrow - like Annie sings. And meanwhile I love your stamp. Very nice Ann.

Wow did you digitally color that? I am not crafty so I have no clue what process you used but it looks great.

The weather here has been foggy, cold and misting rain for the last three days. It saps the energy right out of you.

All I want to do is sleep. It is supposed to be this way through Tuesday...yuck for both of us!

I do love what you accomplished though! I wish I were more talented! It's just so pretty!

I like it. There is so much to do on the Internet so you can get lost in doing things you didn't intend on doing. It happens to me all the time.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
