Stitched

I did a little stitching and made another candle mat. This one I drew myself and then stitched on muslin. After it was done I used different spices along with my coffee mixture to tint some of the areas.
I actually grunged it up more but didn't take a second picture. I stained the whole thing with a mixture of coffee and spices.

So do you stand the candles on these to catch the wax Ann?? Not really sure what a candle mat is however it seems a shame to cover up the stitching!

Well, that certainly explains why so many Muslims are so upset. For I wouldn't like my skin being stitched on one little bit, either!

Well that's cute as all get out. You could do one of these for every holiday. That would be cool.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. ☺

I do like the picture - did you stain the fence and the post? That's very clever - does it smell?

Now I like that. That would make something good to sell. Like the idea of using coffee as a coloring. Well done. See you thought of something.

Clever idea to tint it! Do you have to re-tint it after every time you wash it?
