Simplicity

I'm linking up with "A personal photo challenge" today. The theme this month is simplicity.
In keeping with that theme I am simply giving you one photo.

Now I suppose I could go into great detail explaining about the picture but lets just keep it simple today.

I love the grain in the wood floor - I want them in my cottage!

The simple glass bottle used as a vase is lovely - perfect for one bloom, did you change the color?

Happy weekend - Mary (A Breath of Fresh Air)

I love it! Nature's simplicity is always a winner. Beautiful lighting, the soft petals and color are highlighted against the wood background. And vignetting really hones the viewer in on the subject. Take a curtsy on this one, Miz Ann!

Very nice focus on the bloom! I like the simplicity of the single flower in the bottle and the bare wood of the background. Pamela

Simplicity is a great word and should be our theme every single day. I like this and the carnation too.

Have a simple weekend. My best to Duke. :)

Love the composition and all the wonderful textures. Using the wooden background really makes the flower stand out.

Doing things simply is different than being a simpleton--right?

A picture as simple as this can be ever so stunning.

It's been a busy week here in Texas, sorry for the delay in getting back to you to repay you a visit. Hope your weekend is going well.
