It took how long?

Some projects I work on go quickly and some take a little bit longer to put together. A few things I recently finished however took an unreasonable amount of time to complete.

About a month or so ago I was trying to jump start my crafting motivation. I dug into a box of unfinished projects and pulled out some wood pieces that I had cut out over 10 years ago. Yes, that does say TEN YEARS.

I realize these are out of season at the moment but these will be going to the craft show with me in August.

The one in the upper left hand corner is a new one but all the rest sat for years unpainted waiting for me to finish them. The gingerbread man has a small ginger bread hanging off the one side. I cut that out of the picture.

I used to make wooden things just like this! Some have wire hangers, I need to snap and post them!

I love your art works, I think they would be called 'Naive Art'.
This is no distraction from their appeal and I'm sure they'll go down well in the craft show. I love them.

Those are all so cute! They were worth waiting 10 years for! :)

So, I suppose Duke really doesn't have all that much to complain about when the smell of bacon is not wafting around your place for months at a time. Furthermore, bacon left out for 10 years might not be all that safe to eat!

Most artisans are doing their winter projects now...I could never get use to that. i am sure your pieces will sell well because of the meticulous work you do.

Only 10 years? If I ever dig out some boxes... well I wonder what I'll find. I know what a few of them are.
