It's snowing

Oh yes, we've got plenty of snow. We had a white Christmas for sure. I'm ready for it to all go away but something tells me that's not going to happen any time soon.

I don't care for the cold flakes falling outside but I made a few snowflakes of my own that I do like

These flakes were made with my sewing machine.

I stitched this on cheap craft felt because that's what I had and why not use it up

I turned it into a candle mat. This went in a gift basket that I put together for my gift exchange at work.

I am praying for some snow for us! It isn't forecast at the moment but who knows what the new year will bring. I love your candle mat! I plan to get to know my sewing machine a little better in this coming year. Hope you are relaxing in this festive season x

You have a nice sewing machine to master these designs

How wonderfully creative. And having a candle mat is an ideal...idea!! Now I want one.

Who ever grabbed your gift exchange bag turned out to be a winner. Of that, I'm sure.

Oh, and keep that nasty white stuff up north will ya?!!!

Did you do that freehand? Or does your machine do that by programming it?

Snow is melting here today...but freezing temps are coming again next week. It's okay...it's winter. I expect it.

Brrr... it has been snowy and cold, but today is supposed to warm up...

Love your snowflakes! They are such a pretty design!

Hugs, antonella :-)

Gad I hate snow! Very pretty little item - and I am as curious as Lin - does the machine do the design automatically or do you design as you go along? Either way seems it would take some dexterity to have it come out so pretty...

Wow- that is beautiful! My machine will do stuff like that but I've never even tried it.

I hope by now that your bad days at work are behind you. On to the new year! I sure do love your snowflakes! You know how to take some cheap felt and make it look so elegant!

How pretty! You must have one of those computerized sewing machines. Be careful with that snow out there!

Too cute. You are so talented.

I don't care for the snow, but many love it. I could be on a tropical island year round and be very happy.

Have a fabulous day. My best to Duke. ♥♥♥

VERY pretty snowflakes!! I just love them. We have had more snow this year than we have had in YEARS!! I don't go outside much ...

Such a pretty design! I like your kind of snowflakes better. It is blowing snow and low wind chills here today. Travel not recommended all around us. Most tired of winter and the snow already.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas Ann!

I love your candle mat, the design of the snowflakes are wonderful! (I like the teeny navy one.) Wish I could sew. Have a machine but I'm challenged. Whoever received your gift is surely happy-happy!

Sending some sunshine :)
hugs xo
