Badges of honor

I'm still going strong with my diet and exercise program. I've been doing around 30 minutes of exercise on most days and I log everything I eat in my lose it app on my kindle.

Since I registered online with Lose it, the web site keeps track of my progress and awards me with badges when I hit certain marks.


My kindle hasn't been connected to the internet recently so there may be more badges waiting for me. If I don't connect to the internet with my kindle the web site doesn't get the information from the app.

Any way, aside from that I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. I haven't been in the mood for the computer so that is the reason for my absence. We did get our new internet connection hooked up and although it's been reliable, it's slow. Not only that but we can't get the wireless router to work with it so the only computer that has internet access is my desktop. Hopefully we'll get that figured out and we'll be able to use the laptops again.

well maybe all this going on is why your email is messed up...hope you get it all fixed soon and i bet that is why you don't feel like blogging. congrats on all those badges.

Hooray for the badges and what they represent (I like "stickers"), but the internet connection thing sounds very annoying.

Thumbs up from me! Well done! I have a similar app on my phone but I'm not so reliable when it comes to logging everything I eat! No badges for me :-(

Gah - slow internet, no wi-fi - would make me batso - even tho I have been spending less and less time on the computer still when I need it it's there and fast. You don't have cable in your area?

Great job on your exercise Ann! Woo hoo! I've just been doing Zumba twice a week and sitting on my butt doing tax returns five or more days a week so I'm headed in the wrong direction.

I am like Donna...LOL...perhaps a badge to start would be a good incentive for me. Keep up the good work...it is not easy but the reward of badges and looking slim and fit this summer will be well worth it.

Congratulations on your badges and progress! I'm earning badges of my own these days. Brian and I bought the fitbit bands and the WIFI scale. It's really cool. There is also an app for my phone and my tablet. It also monitors or blood pressure, glucose, and anything else we want to watch. I'm bound and determined to be in better shape when I visit my daughter in the fall.
