Nothing major

Holy smokes, has it really been 6 days since I posted last? Nothing major has been keeping me away from it. I'll blame it on several small things going on and a lack of enthusiasm for anything computer related.

I know you're all wondering about Duke and I wish I could give you some highly positive news. While he doesn't seem to be getting worse, I don't see that's he's gotten much better either. He went to the vet last Friday and she said to continue on with his medication and he's got another appointment scheduled.

For today I'll just give you some previously posted pictures of Duke

If you don't hear from me for another week don't worry, I'm probably on the couch reading.

I've had you both in my thoughts. While I'm so happy to hear Duke hasn't gotten worse, I was so hoping he was doing better. I'm so sorry. I know you're worried.
hugs to you both.

Duke is so cute, I've got to take Butch in for a hair cut, He has never had a professional cut. It is so easy to see that Duke is a pampered pup. Just as is should be:)

Hope someday soon, Duke, you'll be your ol' chipper self again.

And Ann, take it easy...you work hard long hours, you deserve to relax when home.

I've been the same way this summer....don't feel much like posting. While I don't really want to give up the blog, I wonder if this is the beginning of the end. I don't think I have anything to write about anymore that is interesting. All that I have is crabbing...and nobody wants to read that!

Gosh, I hope Duke gets better soon. I'm worried about our dog friend. I hope they figure out what it is and he starts feeling better soon!

i think it is MAJOR that Duke is sick, and i am thinking that has shut your blogger mojo down... maybe he needs to go back before Friday for stronger drugs. i say this because my friend took her meds for a week and went back and he said i should have given you stronger meds.. 2 days later she was geting better. what is good for people is good for dogs. hug my sweetie for me

We send more prayers for Duke (we prayed Duke last night before bed). It's so stressful to worry about our fur-babies so we are praying for you too. Rest, read, and relax so you can give positive energy to Duke oxox

Hi There, Hope you had a great Labor Day Weekend. We did --but didn't do much since it has gotten so hot here. We did grill a couple of delicious steaks and had baked potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles and cranberry relish for dinner... YUM...

I've learned through the years that there's more to life than blogging. It's good I think to take time off --and I think that makes all of us better bloggers. Take all of the time you need.

Prayers for your little furry baby... I hope he will begin to feel better soon...

Hugs,
Betsy

Bacon withdrawal often takes months, and most do not make it. So, why not just give up and fry some?
