TGIF

This week sure did fly by fast. I guess it helped not working on Monday. I sure can't wait for my work day to end today though so I can start my weekend. I haven't yet decided if I'll be lazy first and then take a nap or maybe I should nap first so I'm well rested when I'm ready to be lazy. Decisions, decisions.

Well even though it's really starting to look like fall around here with all the leaves changing I'm going to show you something that's a little bit more summery.
A couple months ago I bought this plant when it was marked down to $7.00

I believe it was called a fire and ice hydrangea. The flowers supposedly change from white to red.

Now we all know that I am horrible with plants and their survival rate are not very high once they are under my care but I couldn't resist this one with it's pretty flowers.

I believe I"m going to take the weekend off. Hopefully I'll get caught up on some things around here. I'll be back on Monday

The plant s very lacy and has a lot going on. WHEN will it turn to red, summer or fall? I hope you have a really nice weekend and do just whatever you please!

I love hydrangeas in all its shades, but I have not seen a white one turn red though. Hope you'll show us if yours does! Enjoy your weekend :)

I also love hydrangeas. Beautiful flowers. I, like you, have absolutely no ability to grow anything. My husband is in charge of the garden. Happy Weekend Ann!!

I've never come across fire and ice hydrangeas but it looks lovely. Unbelievably I've managed to keep several plants alive this past year! That's a record for me!
Have a great weekend!

Mmmmmmm, pretty plant. I like the name too, "Fire and Ice". If it survives and turns red...I hope you show it with a photo.

Enjoy your weekend Ann.

That's how things go around here - well at least for my husband and the cats - They take naps to rest up from their naps! Have a great weekend! (Make something pretty!)

I think you should take the nap so your rested up enough to be lazy. That's what I would do. I know you'll enjoy your weekend. You don't have anything to do but those things you want to do. Perfect.

Have a terrific day and weekend. ♥♥♥

Pretty hydrangea! It is pretty difficult, I think, to kill them.

And when you have a choice between nap or no nap, always pick nap. Trust me...

Take it easy this weekend. I'm sure you need a BREAK.

I vote for nap then be lazy, sounds like a win-win! Lovely hydrangea, can't grow them here so thanks for sharing your lovely photo.

The plant is beautiful! Unfortunately, like you, I'm horrible with plants. Enjoy your weekend, I like the idea of taking it off. You can just be lazy because sometimes we just need to do that.

Naps are always good. Hope you enjoyed being "lazy" - Very pretty hydrangea, hope it survives for you.

Arlynda clings to the sad remains of her hydrangea while reminiscing about how great it used to be. Every time I suggest just throwing it out, she makes it quite clear that I will get thrown out long before it will. Sigh.

If this looks this good after two months, you are doing something right. I have no living plants in my home. The end :-)
