The Gibbs report

Hello my blogging friends. I've heard a lot of talk about a guy named Duke who lived here before me. While mom's at work I checked her computer and think I found a picture of him.

I heard he was pretty popular around here so I thought you would enjoy seeing this picture.

I don't know all the tricks that Duke used to know but I've already learned that when you come back inside if you run right to the kitchen cupboard where the treats are your chances of getting one are really really good.

Can you believe that sometimes mom calls me Duke? I think maybe she's a bit coo coo bird because we don't look anything alike. I'll forgive her though because she is kind of on the old side.

Gibbs, if lovely old Duke could talk to you now he's tell you how lucky you are to belong to such a great mommy.

Ha, the treat routine is a tradition.I tried to change brands and mine are turning their noses up sometimes to see which treat is being offered.

Now wait just a gosh darned minute here...you calling your mom 'old'. YOU DO KNOW that dogs age a lot quicker than we humanoids...so be careful. You'll be a senior citizen before you know it.

Aw, I miss Duke. He was such a cute guy. :(

If you only get called "Duke," you are doing well. Everyone here gets called 3 or 4 names before I finally settle on "Whoever you are." Moms can't always keep track of everybody, Gibbs.

Well Gibbs, I'll admit I loved Duke something awful. It broke my heart when he had to leave. I'm warming up to you though. In time we'll all love you as much as we will always love Duke.

Have a woof woof day Gibbs. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥

Awww, Gibbs, I am actually crying right now. And I bet your mom still has moments when she does too. You are a sweetheart for showing him to us today. BUT I love you just as much, my little furry friend! I can see where mom would be calling you Duke because she had him for so many years.

We loved Duke so it was good to see him today! At least your mom is calling you Duke and not one of those HBO words that moms sometimes say!

Oh Duke was precious but you are too. Thanks for sharing.

Go to your kitchen .. Mom will be home soon. She will give you treats. You have really entertained us today. It was a gloomy day where I live so I sat here and read your blog. Your sure cute.

You are winning over the hearts of the Duke fan club, Gibbs. I think your mom will be happy to give you treats no matter what she calls you.

What a cutie the doggie is that came before you, and what a cutie you are. Mario would tell you the same thing about me. Sometimes I give him two treats a night when he should only have one. he he - I forgot if I gave him any before.
