Interesting. Maybe, maybe not.

I was born in March of 1962. Today is post number 1962. Who knew I would ever make it this far with my blog. I think Duke had a lot to do with the success.

I sometimes wonder if the blog friends I have would like me if they knew me in person. Here you don't see my attitude (the bad side of it). You also don't experience my wall of silence that goes up from time to time. It was built after years of trusting too much. Here I try to be positive and happy. If I say something wrong I can backspace out of it and it's never said. Here I don't say four letter words,

As I'm typing this I wonder what Gibbs is doing.

Gibbs, what have I told you about playing with my shoes?

What shoes? I wasn't playing with any shoes.

If you want your blog friends to keep liking you, you better stop blaming me for playing with your shoes.

Caught in the act, and boy does he look surprised! I have a feeling that even if we knew the REAL you, we would still love you! Anyone who works in a bakery and takes care of sweet little dogs can do no wrong!

Aww...nice to see Duke's face up there :) And Gibbs looks so sweet and innocent...;-)
I think blogger's personalities are reflected in their blogs, no matter what they write!

Our posts are similar today. You'll see. Anyway, I like you just as you are. Duke was a big draw to your blog back in the day. Now it's Ann and Gibbs. Ann first.

Have a fabulous day. My very best to the chewer Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Happy birthday month! Gibbs obviously thinks you need to treat yourself to new shoes for your birthday! He wants that pair!
Blogging is just one facet of who we are and I enjoy reading your blog because you are who you are! No apologies needed!

Ann, I have wondered the same thing! I do believe I can tell who I would "click" with in person...I believe you are one of them. :) I put up that same wall for the same reason.
I would love to have a vacation with some blogging friends. Maybe we rent a beach house, no men, just us girls. Wouldn't that be fun??
hugs!

What I like about blog friends is that we sorta know each other BEFORE we may meet in person. I think a good portion of who I am is reflected in my blog--I mean, how can it not?

I don't share a lot of my personal stuff that is bad--I just don't want to be a downer. One blogging friend said to me (in person) "You have such a wonderful family...wonderful life! Everyone is so happy and silly..." Uh...yeah, because who wants to read when I'm mad about something or when things aren't so great? It's not a charade, I just don't care to share personal stuff, you know?

So....I still want to be your friend and I would love to meet your so-called grumpy self in person someday. Oh, and Gibbs too...the Shoe Thief.

That's right Gibbs, she better stop doing that! If I was to meet you in person, I'd want to be crafty with you!

Wow that's a lot of posts! I love seeing Duke - after all these years I felt like I knew him. I'm sure I'll feel the same about Gibbs someday too. I'd come visit you even without the cute dogs. :-)

Congrats on blog post 1962, that's quite an accomplishment! I'm sure Duke helped with your blog success but we all stop by here because of you Ann. And I'm pretty sure we'd like you in 'real life' too ☺

Sure miss Duke...but Gibbs is a charmer too. I would love to meet all of my blogger friends one day. I know that each of us keep a private side to our blog but I think each of our inner spirits shines bright and true. Ann, I admire your gift of creating and crafting that inspires me to keep creating and coming back to visit you.

I will still like you, although you really shouldn't accuse Gibbs of playing with your shoes. He would never do a bad thing. He's too cute!

I like blogging for a lot of those same reasons. No one "judges" you here. Gibbs & Duke are both wonderful to read about on your blog. I think we'd be friends in person too.

Oh, I would like you even if Duke hadn't introduced us! Like a previous comment mentioned, personalities do come through on blogs and yours is a very likable one :)

I would still like you Ann! For sure!! I love your sense of humor the most...and it's always nice to see cute puppy pictures and hear about Duke's and Gibb's adventures! It's also nice to visit someone who is positive and happy!

Happy birthmonth, and congrats on 1962 posts. Next trip east that I don't go through Canada, we might manage to get together if you want.
