What I won

Or maybe I should say Gibbs won this. Any way, I feel bad that it has taken me this long to tell you all about it but it took Wade this long to actually put this up.

So here goes. I won a giveaway over at Bichonpawz. Jean had this incredible giveaway for a PetSafe sliding glass pet door. I can not believe I actually won this. I was thrilled.
Here's the link to the PetSafe door if you want to check it out there http://store.petsafe.net/sliding-glass-patio-door

The package arrived here and then it sat right inside the door for what felt like forever.

I considered trying to put it in myself but it came with screws and pieces parts and an instruction book that looked like a foreign language to me. I'm not saying that it had confusing directions I'm just saying that my brain couldn't handle the overload. So I waited for Wade to get around to doing it.

Yesterday he was off and when I got home from work he had it in. Now he didn't install it exactly the way they say to but he said he liked it this way better and it will work just as well. He also said he could not get Gibbs to go through it.

I have better powers of persuasion and Gibbs did go through it. Of course I had to keep making him go through it before he figured out what exactly it was that he was doing.

The nice thing about this door is that it isn't permanent. It can be removed. I'm hoping that Gibbs will enjoy his new found freedom of being able to go out on the deck all by himself. As for the door itself I can say that PetSafe has a quality product here.

A big thank you to Jean for hosting this awesome giveaway.

I have a screen door with one in it. I can leave for the day and dogs and cats can go in and out.

That is terrific. What a great thing to win. Sure hope other animals don't learn how to come in. I bet Gibbs will figure it out. Have a great day.

looks perfect. when you slide the door closed does it go behind it and close the bottom? or does that stay open all the time?

Have a woof woof day Gibbs. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥

Congrats on that win! We're hoping to win Chloe and LadyBug one day! :) Gibbs must be able to go out on the deck by himself without being tied to anything. Maybe that'll make him go out more instead of 'going' in the house!

It takes some time for them to feel confident going through those little doors. My Grace would go through like a trooper, but the other kitties...not so much.

Tip: You have to sing "Push it" by Salt 'n Peppa a lot to encourage them to go through.
