The Holiday Train

I saw a video on Facebook of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. When I went back to find the video again to share it here I couldn't find it but I found another one.

Want to take a train ride with me?

and here is my index card from yesterday.

maybe he's depressed because he has a dirty face and someone didn't want to print out another elf to cover that up.

Is that all the train does...is light up? Because in Chicago, we have a Christmas Express and it has elves on board and everyone sings Christmas songs and you get hot chocolate and stuff and Santa rides on the outside of the train waving at everyone as it goes by. Joe was walking under the EL went it went by and he said Santa looked RIGHT AT HIM and waved at him. :) (I'm not sure I believe that part)

Poor Elf. I think you and I are both feeling like him these days.

Neat train ---but poor poor elf... Don't think it's the dirty face. Maybe he just has TOO much to do this time of year.

Love the Christmas train... In our area of the country there are trains similar to that one ---who go into all of the little 'back' (Poor) communities and take toys to all of the children.. It is such a neat ministry --and helps make Christmas more special for children who otherwise may not get anything.

Hugs,
Betsy
