In case you were wondering

When I showed you my clothespin barrels the other day did you wonder what I did with the metal spring part after I took the clothespins apart? Yeah I knew  you did. I bet it's been bothering you ever since too.
Well let it bother you no more. I happened to see an idea on Pinterest that led me to a clothespin spring star ornament tutorial.

They don't have a hanger on them yet but these are my stars. I found that some of them move around more than others and will lose their shape easily. I dabbed a little glue where the springs connect to help them hold their shape.

Once again....another clever idea!! Once the glue dries....dip them in a glue mixture and white 'snow'!!!

I love those! Just think of all the colors you can paint them for different holidays like gold and silver and red, white and blue!

No, I wasn't wondering about those pieces at all. I'm not crafty that's why.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Tell Wade to get out his soldering iron to make them stay together ... and while he's at it he could add a pin back. Cute craft fair item!

these are so cool! I can think of so many ways to use them! putting them on a string of lights to hang around a porch or deck would be fun and painting them fun sparkly colors, decorating a wreath and just so many possibilities! :)
