New selfie and playing chicken

I got a hair cut so I decided it called for a new selfie. I had a picture on my phone that I showed the girl for how I wanted it cut. The picture had bangs. When she got to that she looked at the picture again and asked me if I was sure I wanted to go with the bangs. I asked her what her opinion was and she said she wouldn't instead she suggested the slight side bang which I've had forever.  Oh well bang bang, shot the idea of bangs down.

Yesterday I went to Wal-mart a little later than I usually go and it was like playing a game of chicken. As I was walking along with my cart I would be walking towards someone coming the opposite direction and do you think that person would move out of the way. Even when they made direct eye contact with me they would keep on course and I was the one who had to veer over to avoid collision. What was up with that? And then there were the ones who were blocking an isle and knew I was there but didn't move to the side so I could pass. Was it national rude day or something?

You look so pretty! And I love the hairdo! It seems that when people get in Wal-Mart, they CHANGE. It's The Wal-Mart Effect...

Love the new 'do! Looks great - very sassy (and so you ;o) I'm pretty sure that every day is National Rude Day at Wal-Mart (and pretty much every other public place. Not much polite left out there anywhere, I'm afraid. *sigh*

Great haircut. We like that a lot. People in the Walmart are rude most of the time. It is a real experience going to the Walmart. Have a great Sunday.

Love your hair cut. A lot.

People are rude almost everywhere. The world seems so angry all the time. I wonder who or what riled them up so badly.

Have a fabulous day Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Nice haircut and a nice picture, too!

The haircut is great - I think most faces need a little softness framing them but bangs are limiting - so to the side - I think better.

I have had that experience so many times, especially in Walmart.
What's up?

LOVE your hair!! I agree...no bangs.

I just posted this comment on another blog talking about people these days: Everyone is feeling out of control and not respected as an individual. This is leading to aggression, violence, increased use of anti-depressants and aggressive drivers on our roads. It's in our every encounter it seems--it's "Me first, eff you." Sad, sad state of our society. It gets me down.

Your new haircut is lovely! Great selfie!

We were talking about rudeness like that on our trip. No matter where we went, if we met people coming towards us in a store, on a sidewalk, on a trail, anywhere, we were the ones to have to get out of their way. Heaven forbid they move over even an inch. I just don't get why people are so rude these days.

great do. Maybe everyone was day dreaming or just mystified at the good looking gal headed for them

Love love love your hair and that picture... This is your best one ever I think (that I have seen)... Thanks for sharing... I think you were smart to listen and NOT get bangs...When I hike, my crazy hair always comes down --and looks like I have bangs....Oh Well.

People are SO rude. We have the Walmart problem when we hike in areas where there are lots of people. People walk right in the middle of the path and wouldn't think of moving over at all.. SO RUDE...

Hugs,
Betsy

Arlynda told me that it would be nice if I stopped by and left a comment because of how nice you have been to her. She also told me that it would not be so nice for me if I didn't. So, here I am. Gibbs has done lost a lot of respect for me--huh? Sigh.

oh, why did you go to Wal-Mart, we always get there late and I have to have a electric cart. Some days it just doesn't work out. The last time I had a haircut was at Wal-Mart. talk about that should be a story that needs a couple posts to work t all in. Long story-teehee
