At least they'll fill a spot.

This plaque almost hit the garbage. I started by stenciling the deer and tree trunks and it just kept getting worse from there.  The paint was too thin and it ran under the stencil. Then I tried sanding and unfortunately the tree shows through the deer now. Then when I went to do a top coat of mod podge to seal it the ink in the deer ran. I decided to dab brown all over with a sponge and try to camouflage the whole mess. I wouldn't buy it but maybe someone would. The "clean your room" is a magnet. I glued a magnet to the wood that will hold interchangeable chore magnets that I found at the dollar store.

The back of the plaque holds the additional chore magnets

This one I stamped the saying on muslin, glued it to cardstock then glued that to the blue paper. I broke a crayon and glued that on. I liked the idea but it just looks too plain.

The magnet plaque is a brilliant idea!! A plaque with a really fun practical use. Love the blue color and crayon on the last one.

Some like the 'plain' and un-embellished, so maybe ...just perhaps, it may sell and surprise you.

I like the DEER the best.

What a great idea with the chores

I love the magnet one. I remember when my son was still living here and I could have put all those magnets on the front. Just saying.

Have a fabulous day Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

The chores one is a fab idea - I prefer bright colors so the brown doesn't appeal to me personally but I bet other folks will like it a lot. Clever idea (and useful). I can't decide about the crayon one - I like the colors and I like the mixed media plaques but ye, something is a bit off. (Do you 'stamp' one letter at a time, or do you have entire words - as always I am fascinated by the techniques you use.)

What a great idea to use magnets! It'd be great for magnets with fun sayings shared among couples too. Not with the deer of course but hearts or something.
