A room with a view

Or a view of the room. After cleaning up my computer/craft room last Monday I had to take a panoramic shot of the room. Believe it or not it's been almost a whole week and it still looks this clean. I obviously haven't done any crafting yet. Once I do it will return to it's usual messy state.

The picture gets a little wonky over on the right hand side of it but you get the idea here. I moved my desk in front of the window so now I can sit in front of the open window and enjoy a breeze (when there is one) The white table which is where I do all my crafting was on the opposite wall and now my sewing machine is there. On the far left in the corner I created a bit of a shelving unit with some of the crates I use for my craft display and with the other crates I have a have another shelving unit in the corner next to my desk (far right which doesn't show up in the shot). So what will I do when I want to do another craft show? I'll either have to buy more crates or unpack all these.

You have fixed it up well, and it looks really nice! You have plenty of space to work without being cramped or stepping on anything!

great idea in front of the window, i wish mine were where i could see out. i like the looks of the crates so my vote goes to buy more crates or boxes to haul stuff in. very creative look to the shelving.. and organization is always good. i can't figure why when i organize the computer side of the bedroom why it only stays a few days and needs it again

I like this....very much.

I have my desktop by the window too, but the breeze is NOT good at this time of year. The a/c at my back is better.

You have that special touch. I laughed the other day when I had my desk cleared and organized and thought of you first off.Someone messed it back up before i could share. Can't remember when my basement desk was cleared,it is so small it can't hold anymore.

It's good that you have your own place to go create. I think everyone needs someplace that is there's alone.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

That's quite a large craft room! You can never have enough storage space. Just this weekend I managed to squeeze in some shelves in my room :)

It's a nice clean slate for you to start creating in again! I'm a person who loves when everything is organized, ironic because my desk is complete chaos right now.

Ooh, what a terrific space you have there! I can't share a photo of my craft room right now or the hoarder police would be taking me away. I have a few projects going on… the next one needs to be cleaning up.
