A snowman and some answers

Saturday at the craft show I went to I found so many wonderful things that I wanted to buy. First I bought a little something for Gibbs. He got a necktie so he can dress up for the holidays. If I can ever get him to sit still with it on I'll show you a picture. Amanda saw a table runner that she really liked and said that I could buy that for her for Christmas. I agreed but told her she has to wait until Christmas to get it. I'm so mean. For myself I brought home a snowman

He's made out of log slices and I thought he was too cute. He's about 18 inches high and quite heavy.

Next I want to answer a couple questions from yesterdays comments.

Sharla wanted to know how long I had to wait on Amanda that I was able to get so much done while I was waiting for her to come over so we could go to the craft show. Since I got up a little before 6 and the craft show didn't start till 9 I had plenty of time to have my coffee, get dressed and then throw that stuff together.

Ginny asked if the picture of the snow was my house and my yard. The picture was taken from an upstairs window in my house. That is part of my back yard and the buildings on the left is a doctors office and the building on the right used to be a Dollar General, now it's just an empty building.

Steve asked if I found anything at the craft show and obviously I answered that with this post.

I can't wait to see Gibbs in his little necktie! I know what you mean about getting a good photo...it is so hard to get them to stand still long enough to snap the photo! Love the snowman you picked up at the craft fair...he doesn't look like he would be 18" tall!! Love the look of the wood though!

that snow man would be easy to make if you had someone to saw the logs for you or find the logs for you.. he is cute .. you had a very productive and fun day off. ha ha on Gibbs standing still, I bet he runs in circles when you put it on him. I can't even get Jake to wear a santa hat for a photo

I was wondering how long you waited for Amanda, but forgot to ask. lol can't wait to see Gibbs in his neck tie. :) hubby and I saw a Christmas tie that lit up and thought about buying it for one of our pups to wear for a Christmas pic. we didn't buy it, but we did buy Rocket a new sweater and he loves it. :)
your snowman is adorable! the older Kyle gets the more difficult he is to buy for at Christmas unless it's a new car or something...ha ha...not happening. :)

I've been seeing little bags of round wood like these at Joann's. They are in where you buy the floral stuff, jute and stones but haven't seen anything made of them until now. Are you going to try one?

I love the snowman. Too cute and what a lovely winter decoration. I'm guessing he'll hang around until spring hits.

Have a fabulous day Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the boss Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Your snowman collection would probably be more fun if you lived in a warmer climate LOL

Thanks for answering my question! Now it makes more sense although you're still Wonder Woman! :)

Your snowman is adorable! Around here I think his arms would get chewed off so he'd have to be out of kitty reach. Bet Gibbs is cute in his necktie too! Hope he holds still for a photo!

Thanks for answering the questions! Some bloggers never do. You have a lovely yard! Is next door your own doctor? The snowman is cute, but I like yours much better!
