They say....

....change is going to do you good. Well lets hope so because there is another change coming today. It looks like "change" is my word for the year.

First there was the change of less clutter (not done yet but still working away at it)

Second was the change in cell phone companies. (so far happy with this change)

Third is coming today between 8 and 9 this morning. We are changing our tv/internet provider. We're saying goodbye to Dish network who's prices are going up and making the switch to our local cable company.

If for some reason the switch does not go smoothly and I don't show up for a day or so you'll know it's nothing serious just working out the glitches. (I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the worst)

Gibbs is keeping an eye out for the technicians arrival.

I think the next change should be changing back to using my good camera for blog pictures and stop using the phone.

Gibbs is keeping a good watch! I do hope it all goes smoothly and you like your reception and channel choice. We quit Direct T.V. once, but came back a year or so later. Whenever we get a bill now, we just call hem up and threaten to leave. They lower it really fast.

so far all your changes are good ones, I love my cable internet.. hope yours is as good as ours. and no data plan either... tell Gibbs to guard the house while they are there.

Wow, you are making a lot of changes!! I hope that your internet/tv provider change goes smoothly...we all rely so heavily on it! Our Cable keeps going up, up, up. I keep calling them and threatening to cut the cord. It has lowered a bit, but so far we haven't given up to many channels here. Honestly, we probably should give up more. There are some nights when there is absolutely nothing on the tv!! And, I really do think they throttle the speed...

Keep a good watch on those guys Gibbs!! Your phone pics are fine Ann!

Like that watch dog pose.

I hope the transition goes smoothly. I can relate to the rising costs for television and internet. We got rid of television altogether (we just have Netflix and Amazon Prime). Our cable company did the same thing that Dish did to you.

I think Gibbs is most handsome.

Have a fabulous day off. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

My Mum used to say that a change is as good as a rest, so hope all goes well.

Change is good, especially when you are the one choosing the changes! Cable has many many advantages and usually you don't have to watch out for how much you are using it (I don't know what your cable company is like) and weather doesn't have too much of an effect, which is not to say ice and thunderstorms and hurricanes can't knock it out (if the cables are above ground). They will raise the rates every year but I have found that negotiating works wonders (After 13 years with Comcast I'm paying less now than I was 5 years ago and we have every single channel and nothing to watch LOL). Always love to see Gibbs...

I'm not usually big on changes, but when it comes to saving money...well that is a good change. :)
I bet Gibbs loves that window. I would love to drive down the street and see him in the window. :) it's always so cute to see a puppy dog sitting in a window. :)
happy Saturday!!

Hope this change works out well like the others! We wanted to change fridges last Nov and we're still waiting on that change to happen. *sigh* I always use my phone for pics since it's what's handy. No time to grab a camera when I'm taking pics of cats because it gives them time to move!

We changed cell phone providers and internet and TV lately, too. Change can be frustrating and good at the same time. There is always a little learning curve with anything new but I agree Dish network was getting out of control. Giving all kind of deals to get new customers, but nothing for long time users.
