Late and early

Late = Wade and his hernia problem. He's had a double hernia for far too long and should have had it taken care of a long time ago. Finally he's doing something about it and is scheduled for surgery on the 27th. Yesterday he had to go to the hospital for blood work, chest x-ray and EKG.

Early = the hospital already having decorations out

The tree in their front lobby

And this in a corner as you're going down one of the halls

I find the big Santa rather frightening. His face looks comatose. That little elf better keep an eye on him. I know Wade will be fine. Phil had a huge hernia taken care of many years ago. It had gone on far too long, as well.

Best wishes to your husband. I wish businesses would wait til after Thanksgiving to play Christmas music and decorate.

Prayers for a good and quick surgery and recovery. I agree with Ginny, that Santa doesn't look very friendly. maybe he is warning people to leave his cookies alone. the tree looks nice.

My very best wishes to Wade on his surgery. I agree it is too early to have ALL of the decorations up! At first I thought that was YOUR tree! I haven't even thought about what I am going to do about decorating for Christmas yet...

Hubby had that surgery last year. It was a good thing. I know Wade will do fine and in a short time he'll be feeling good again.

Too early for Christmas. I've got to get through Thanksgiving first. I do like that tree though.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

glad he's getting that fixed. But I think you could do a nicer job on a tree than that one.

I'm ready for Christmas but not ready. I want it to be Christmas time but not so fast. I know, I make no sense. Wishing all to go well with Wade's surgery and recovery!

I threatened to look at new trees this week, but still wearing my Thanksgiving orange socks I save for this time of year.

I understand stores pushing Christmas..but hospitals?? I think it is far too early for Christmas trees and holiday decorations--I mean, do they dust the tree? I would think 6 or 8 weeks out and you'd have to dust the darn thing, right?

Good luck to Wade with his surgery. I am glad he is finally getting it fixed!
