still

Winter has kept me in more this year than any other. In the past I didn't care if it was snowing. If I needed something or wanted to go somewhere I went. This year I see it's snowing and I say "forget about it". I've skipped more weekly shopping trips than I can count. Of course that's good for the bank account but I want to get out other than to go to work

That being said it was snowing again. Of course the neighbor across the street seems to be quite content. I'm guessing that maybe he spent his income tax return on a new snowmobile because he's been riding it through the empty lot over and over and over.
The other day I was coming up the street towards my driveway and as fast as he was headed towards the road I didn't think he was going to stop.

Oh and the sun, I didn't notice it shining at all but I took notice of it when it was saying goodnight.

Oh, it is GORGEOUS!!! I love this last picture. I have been staying in more than ever, too. Sick for a month. And also, now I am not staying in for the weather. I want no people around because of the flu epidemic.

love the last light of the dying sun. the noise of the snow mobile would drive me nuts, just like lawn mowers, and blowers and chain saws here, and we have those year round. I have found that i now use ANY excuse to keep from going out to do something. i need gas, and it is only a five minute drive to get it, keep putting it off. i will think tomorrow i will go to so and so and do so and so and 3 days later i have not done it. if snow were in the picture i would never go out

The cold has been tougher with all the winds we get.

Winter wears one down. It just does. We are warming up here and some of the trees have blossoms. It's still cold at night, but during the day it's warmer.

Have a fabulous day, my friend. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

What a lovely photo of the winter scene with the sun! It does make me think of huddling inside under a blanket though so I get why you feel the way you do. As for your neighbor, his income tax refund is his own money he loaned the government all year as an interest free loan so he's a dufus. Just sayin. Lol!

Perhaps this is your winter to snuggle-in, dear Ann. It doesn't mean that each winter will be this way... just perhaps this one is different. We've had a lot of snow too. 130+ inches for our county this winter, not counting the 8 inches we got last night and the 3 inches predicted for tomorrow. Spring will indeed be a welcomed sight this year for you as well as me, honey. Hang in there! XOXO

I am sure you are tired of all the snow. If I had to live with it more than what I do in the winter I would be tired also. Loving the first pic! Beautiful!!
