Maybe plant the tomatoes in pots and keep them on the deck near the house? Don't think the rabbits would be brave enough to come up there especially with Gibbs staring them down through the sliding door! I even went and got Muninex super-duper sinus pills. Yikes!!! Our neighbor told us about a product they sell which is a rabbit / deer repellent in a shake and feed container so I went and got it and guess what it works! If you want the name let me know but your garden center should have it. Wilson also made up a 'natural spray' which needs to be re-applied after rain - I think the granules work far better.
