Flower time

Just a couple different flowers out in my yard today. It's Friday and I'm feeling lazy :)

    The first one looks like Marigold. In my country, we call it 'Chicken sh*t flower'... seriously!

  10. Lovely flowers, Ann - they would make great cards! How about quilling a bee to sit on the foxglove photo? Or a butterfly on the yellow ones?

  13. Wonderful pictures as usual Ann. I love the flowers in the second picture. There are a lot of flowers in that shape. I just call them all Bell Flowers. I think that might be a man thing.

    It is really warm here! It is a little after 8.30 P.M., the sun is still up and it is 83 degrees Farenheit! Went up to 89 degrees Farenheit today!

  20. I like the shadow in your marigold shot,the digitalis is beautiful.One of my favorites, found them wild on Mt. Baker in WA and spent the day shooting different groups.Newest toy that came in the mail is a binder. This required at trip to Hobby Lobby for supplies.Need to take that card away.HA!

  22. LDH thank you, the flowers make it easy, they sit so still for me :)

    out on the prairie I had looked up the flowers on line and discovered that the name was digitalis. I had no idea. So are you talking like a binder as in to bind books? That sounds like fun. I wish we had a hobby lobby close by. The closets one is about 90 minutes away

    Marg yes that's what the second one is, or digitalis as out on the prairie called it.
