I'm sure it's pretty obvious that he over due for a hair cut once again. Saturday he's going to the groomer and he's really excited about it.
We aren't going to the same one as last time though. I know I said I would since I really did like her but my biggest problem is she doesn't have Saturday hours. So in order to get Duke there I almost have to take a day off for it.
Well the other day I was reading our small local paper and saw an add for a groomer
This one is much closer to home than the last one and she has Saturday hours. Duke liked the fact that it says he'll be treated like a star.
I wonder what this one will say when I tell her Duke is a blogger and I need to take pictures? Of course that's if I don't chicken out.

ReplyDeleteHe likes going to the groomers? Most dogs dread it - I do Gizzy myself. I don't think he's ever been and I don't want to start it now and stress his lil' ole' heart ... glad Dukey likes it and I bet he'll be handsomer than ever. Can't wait to see his photo!

Gosh Ann hasn't it flown by since you last took Duke to be clipped?
ReplyDeleteDo they use one of those Hoover versions that sucks the fur up a tube and cuts to the same length or is it done with the old style metal clippers?
Do you wait and watch whilst he is cut? I think I would find it quite hard to walk out and leave him there.
We will all look forward to seeing him groomed and clipped once more!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like Duke is going to have a great time. I look forward to the pictures. Oh, is he going to get a blue ribbon? I remember when I used to take our dogs in to be groomed, they would always come back smelling of perfume and wearing ribbons :)

ReplyDeleteLouis definitely needs a hair cut as well. But I'm torn. I find him so absoluely adorable when he is all shaggy. He, on the other hand, is highly embarrassed and doesn't even want to go to daycare when he is overdue for a grooming.
