First off for those that wanted to know how you missed that post, there is a simple explanation. I wrote it on Sunday and it said it was scheduled. My posts are always scheduled for 7 p.m. (have no idea why I picked that time) Any way, around 8:00 last night for some reason I went in and checked and it had changed to a draft. Needless to say it went up late. Oh well.
Well, how I spent my day. I had to work so that's how most of it was spent. My son came to see me at work and brought me a rose.
Wade asked me what I wanted and I had absolutely no idea. I remembered some time ago I had put a few small items on my amazon wish list. I sent him the wish list and he bought me all 5 things that were on there. It included a game for the wii, a quilling kit and 3 different camera accessories. Now I'm just waiting for those to arrive.
On Sunday Wade had asked me what I wanted for dinner on my birthday. I told him I didn't care, whatever he wanted to cook was fine. It was my birthday and I wasn't going to cook. I decided on chicken stir fry but then we didn't have all the ingredients so my birthday dinner ended up being a fried ham sandwich. Worked for me so long as I didn't have to cook.
And that sums up the exciting day. Yeah I know not very exciting but it was a good day any way.
OK this is two days in a row now. This was scheduled to go up at 7:00. Now at 8:00 it's listed as a draft. Is anyone else having this problem?
I think you had a great day. I'm sure one of those five things you wanted from Amazon is from Duke. I'm sure of it.

ReplyDeleteI haven't had that problem with blogger before but lately I've had where you click on the 'comment' and a blogger page comes up as 'unavailable' so you click out and back on and it works. it just did it a moment ago when I wanted to put a comment here.

We are sorry we missed your post on your birthday... but Happy Belated Birthday Ann... even though it might not be exciting, it was a good day when everything went well :) and you didn't have to cook... and you got a beautiful rose! That would have been a perfect day in my eyes.

If you make changes to your post, be sure to republish it. I have had things left in draft also--and it is always because I had made corrections and forgot to re-publish.....
Mine publishes every morning at 4 a.m. I always check it right before I go to bed to make sure it is published..

Your pictures are breathtaking, a symbol of your son's love for you. Your day rocked!!!! You got a rose from your son, you got everything on your wish list, not just one, and you had someone cook for you! A year or so ago, I pre-scheduled some posts. And this is what they started doing. I could never count on them. So now even if I have to stay up half the night, I write and post them all at once, no more pre-scheduling.

well i feel a little better since it posted after my bed time. love the rose, both photos. that is really nice with the white light in front of the door. did you do the adjustments in your camera? or with software. sounds like you had a great birthday to me. what kind of accessory's did you get and what kind of camera do you have? i like the white like you did with duke in the header.

As long as you had a day you enjoy that is a good birthday in my opinion. It is not like we are little anymore and need balloons and a cake ... well at least I could care less anymore lol. I love the rose Brad brought you, that was sweet of him!
