It's Duke's favorite day today. It's all about him. Don't tell him, but I'm going to squeeze in the fact that even though this is a picture of him, it's also another edit from my play day.
Wade always talks about how Duke will sit at the door waiting for me if I leave the house. Here's Duke sitting at the door waiting and watching for Wade.
And here's cartoon Duke
Side by side, before and after Duke
Is there ANYTHING more loyal than a dog?? Too cute, I like the real Duke best, but the comic one is cool!
ReplyDeleteI say..he is double cute! I love the loyalty of a pet it is so special! :D
ReplyDeleteWatch out Duke she is trying to change you!Stoic change
ReplyDeleteYou're just so clever
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing photos of him, he is the sweetest dog nephew ever! Ginger says woof!
ReplyDeleteI like cartoon Duke. Much better than that other cartoon dog Marma-Duke.
ReplyDeleteDogs are so loyal, Ann.. Duke is one of the BEST.... Great pictures... I like the 'original' the best...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Hard to choose which one is best. Duke is a Star either way. Hey...Is Duke the dog in that cute insurance commercial being broadcast? I always think of Duke when I see it.:)
ReplyDeleteGreat the way you did those pictures of Duke!
ReplyDeleteHe's so handsome either way. Our dog does the same thing. They want their people in the same room at the same time. It's just the way of things.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
Great Photos! I have tried to get his effect but it just doesn't come out the way I want. Yours is perfect!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I wish somebody would wait for me like that!!
ReplyDeleteEven your vent covers are cool! (I know, I notice the weirdest things!)
ReplyDeleteYay for a Duke day! Who wouldn't smile coming home to adorable Duke waiting? He's such a cutie!
ReplyDeletehaha so cute! i think my next doggie will be a westie :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a brilliant effect, and I love the lettering, too.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I like the real Duke much better.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of Cartoon Duke! What is he looking at???
ReplyDeleteHow DO they always know when we're coming home?? Radar!Hahaaa
ReplyDeleteLove how you get such great results with your photo work!
These are wonderful!

love the shot of Duke waiting for daddy, Jake does the same thing, which ever door bob goes out, he sits at that door and waits and waits and waits. baby just sleeps, she cares ot where anyone is. i really really like this edit, both ways are beautiful shots. i am dying to know how you did the slanted side by side before and after, i am thinking you did the transform thing? let me know. i love that before and after thing a lot and this means you had a great play day
ReplyDeleteIt is always nice to see pictures of Duke. Dogs are so loyal. When my wife goes somewhere without Claudia she cries for awhile. I feel so bad for her. But I guess she is mommies girl.
ReplyDeleteDuke is just the cutest!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I love the real Duke best of all. The cartoon is adorable but the real Duke is so cute, he can't be improved.
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly a very handsome dog - he looks perfect and as much fun as you are having with your camera, I do like the first (original photo) of Duke better ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh no! you turned him into a 'mop' :o
ReplyDeleteI tried the common fixes and so far nothing has worked.
ReplyDeletefolding doors
I think Duke just likes it when everyone is home. I like you edit.
ReplyDeletePlaying catch up again so thanks for all the comments, I appreciate each and every one of you.
ReplyDeleteand Grace, isn't that vent cover great? I loved it. Got it at Lowes. Anything would have been better than the old one though...lol
Cute times two! What a neat effect!
ReplyDeleteBefore or After ~ Duke looks cute!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
marie, cute times two, I like that :)
ReplyDeletecatherine he's just got it made :)
Such a beautiful edit Ann...but the snow out the window makes me feel cold, Duke definitely has the right idea looking at it from the warmth of a windowsill!!
ReplyDeleteallotments4you thanks. Hopefully that was the last of the snow for a while around here
