Love is

I discovered what love is in the grocery store. Wade and I made another trip to the grocery store and while he bought pork chops and steaks I found something much more interesting to me. I actually purchased two things but I'm only going to show you one of them today. Tomorrow you can see the other one.
I saw this and just couldn't resist.

Duke gave me the paws up for buying this.

Once again we are feeling the effects of the heat here. I went outside on break this afternoon and the banks sign showed a temperature of 95. When I left work it read 99. The computer says 98 but with the humidity it feels like 109.  At least there is a breeze out there today although it is blowing a lot of hot air around.
If I don't melt I'll be back tomorrow to show you what else I got on the latest shopping trip

    Hi, We got lucky today... We got some rain --which helped drop our extreme temperatures... Hope that this hot weather leaves all of us SOON....

    How precious and the perfect sign for you. I'm sure Duke enjoys it :) I can't even imagine temperatures int he 90's. It's in the 70's here now and I hate it. Keep cool my friend. I am back online again hopefully for good. They had to re-wire my place and so far it's been working. Have a great weekend.

    I believe our high for today was 99 with a heat index of 107...the hottest part of the day is around 5 pm...I wonder why.

    What a cute sign! And it's so true! I hope your heat wave breaks soon. We got up to 72 today which is the warmest it's been for awhile. I know the heat will be here in August so I'll enjoy these temps while I can.

    Ann I love that sign. Only you could find something so cool. Even in 99 degree temps.

    That is so great. Now that was a great buy. We approve of that for sure. You need to hang that up so everyone can see it. Perfect. Try to stay as cool as possible. It is horrible here too.

    You picked up a small pool or battery powered fan so you won't melt while outside. That is what I would buy:)

    good job on this purchase, can't wiat to see what else you found. tell my man Duke, he is much more handsome than the one on the sign. i have this vision of Duke standing up giving you a high five paws up on your purchase.

    It's hot a hades here too! I see a storm coming over the mountains, and I'm hopeful it will break the heat wave up. Just a bit.

    It is love being owned by a westie, isn't it? Don't let Louis see this sign or he will have the house plastered with them. He so pleased with himself lately :)

    That's a great sign! We are going to be headed back to the heat starting tomorrow. We should be at or near 100 by Sunday. Luckily, we don't have the humidity that you do.
