Special Order

Last weekend I had to work on a special order. One of the sales reps that comes in to see us on a regular basis had bought a few of my things that I had sitting on my table at work. She asked if I could do something special for her granddaughter's birthday. But of course I can.
Anyway she said she wanted something with flowers and peace signs and the whole hippie, flower power kind of thing.
I sure hope she likes it.

  28. This is really lovely Ann.

Everything is so tidy and neat and had me wondering whether you may have ever tried making flowers and butterflies using thin strips of wood? I was day-dreaming thinking that they could be varnished for use as garden ornaments. Over here wooden, metal and porcelain ornaments for the garden are quite popular .. I have two metal ones that are small about the size of your flowers and they spin in the wind; a glass huming bird that is stationary and a wooden butterfly that I am hoping will not perish in the Winter weather.
