My excuse

There is a perfectly good excuse for why I have dirty dishes sitting on my counter

It's because I haven't finished making my crocheted dish cloth yet.

I know you're probably wondering why I'm working on this when there has been no mention of finishing the afghan I had started, but I sort of lost interest in that since I knew it wasn't right.

  1. Duke knows you well, Ann... He tells ALL of us what you SHOULD be doing and what you should NOT be doing... ha ha

I'm sure the afghan will get done sometime---but I know the dish cloth will definitely get done sooner!!!!! That's pretty....

You are quite a talented gal... Who in the world cares about dishes? Get Duke to do them!!!!!
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  4. Seems as good am excuse to me as any Ann... Shame about that afghan...will you start again???

How many dishes do you think will pile up before you finish the dishcloth??

  5. Now Duke, you should know by now that everyone has a different way of working! Tell your mom that I don't always clear the dishes from the sink right away.

By the way, I saw that your mommy visited (allotments4you) Tanya Walton's post about a mincemeat recipe. Tanya posted that recipe because I asked her for help finding a recipe for mincemeat.
    Now you know!

    Best wishes & hugs,
    Anna

  8. Have you offered to help clean the dishes, Duke? Our puppies seem to really enjoy it. (I imagine that you already have, but in order to avoid making your mommy feel bad about not taking full advantage of all of her assets, I had to ask.)

  16. Duke, the question is where is your dog bed she's making you? That should be top priority!

don't worry about not finishing things, I do that all the time. Some eventually do get done and others just lounge about the place. I say as long as I'm doing something it's okay, its when I just sit staring at the wall that somethings wrong. lol

  21. Well if it makes you feel any better, I have a whole closet full of things I haven't finished and probably not going to finish. I find it really easy to lose interest. I do not have any more patience. Don't give up Ann. Take care.

  24. You are one of many people, including myself, who I've noticed have been very busy lately with a little too much to do. I have a whole sink full of dishes myself, and I just got doing them earlier.

  25. Well how are you supposed to do the dishes without a proper wash cloth???? ;)

  26. Too bad you can't teach Duke to crochet. Although I am sure he would be happy to lick the dishes clean for you too.

  27. Oh Duke...be nice to Ann. I believe her!
I'm working on a dishcloth too. I wonder if that will get me out of dishes tonight? I'm gonna try!

  28. Those dishcloths are all pretty, but I find them thicker than I like to use.
