Watch the birdie
Did I ever tell you that years ago I started collecting birds? No? Well yeah, I have a bit of a bird collection. Some of them sit in a shelf that is built in to the wall.

Sorry, but any closer and you are going to see just how filthy these things are. I really need to clean them. I think even this one is too close because the dust shows up way too good on the globe and the egg.

We're birdwatchers, so I love this. The tiny plate is unusual.

your birds are like my glass animals and cut glass, have to back way off to get a shot that does not include dust. i like that red egg on the bottom shelf. the top shelf looks like a music box, is it? i stopped collecting and got rid of what i had collected except for 7 bottles and my glass because of the dusting thingy

Pretty bird collection! I don't have collections since I don't like to dust either and pet hair tends to end up everywhere even up high!
