Goodbye sweet Sadie

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to our friend Sadie who crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Although she was across the country and we had never met her, she touched our hearts and made us smile.

No words that I can pen will ease the pain and the feeling of hopelessness that is the unavoidable companion to the death of a friend. And yet he hasn't gone away forever, for he will always live in your thoughts and your mind and be one of the best parts of the past. Earnest H. Hart

    It is always devastating to say goodbye to one of our furbabies. I remember it all too well, even though it was a little over 5 years ago when we said goodbye to Buddy.

    I was shocked and saddened when I heard that Sadie had passed. I never met her, but I still considered her a part of our family.

    It's really something that we are all so connected by our pets and our blogs. I have really come to think of all of us as a family and today, we lost one of our very special family members. I am very sad too. :(

    We are all so sad about Sadie. The world will not be the same without her. We sure are sorry and are thinking about Sharla and all of her family. Great Tribute Ann.

    Being away we didn't even know about Sadie's diagnosis. This is devastating news. Our hearts go out to Sadie's family...she was special to all of us.

    I had been away and so didn't read about Sadie until this morning. I have been crying ever since. Isn't it amazing that someone you have never met in person can touch you so much as those we become friends with in blogland? Love to everyone at Beaded Tail!
