I have never seen one of these outside of a photo--I do believe that I would have a minor freak-out trying to figure out if it was a mutant rat or I was losing my marbles. Both are possibilities.
Wow...you were lucky to get such good photos. The only place you see these in the UK is in zoos, pet shops and stuff like that and they are so quick I have only ever gotten a blur!!

ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw a chipmunk *live* so to speak, I was amazed at how incredibly tiny they are - and fast. So cute - great photos...
