These long johns have been in my family for years and passed down through the generations keeping us all nice and toasty through those long winters. I just happened to find a picture that my grandma took of hers.
OK so I made that all up. I saw a picture of these on Pinterest and thought they were really cute. As simple as this project was to put together it took me forever because I'm such a procrastinator. These are made from 2 tube socks.
These turned out great!! Love the family history too!

ReplyDeleteWe have some of those too hanging in the laundry room from when I enjoyed the country style of decorating. It's not my style anymore but I still think they're cute so hence the reason they are in the laundry room instead of family room! Loved your story! :)

ReplyDeleteThe 'long john's' look great Ann. Would be a nice little project to do with the kids to make dolls clothes. Nights are getting longer and colder here too. I'm always ready for the winter to arrive after a long busy summer...but it always seems to last too long.. :-(
