It's that time of year

The nights are getting a little colder and it's time to start thinking about pulling out the warmer clothes. I think I'm ready with this comfortable old pair of long johns.

These long johns have been in my family for years and passed down through the generations keeping us all nice and toasty through those long winters. I just happened to find a picture that my grandma took of hers.

OK so I made that all up. I saw a picture of these on Pinterest and thought they were really cute. As simple as this project was to put together it took me forever because I'm such a procrastinator. These are made from 2 tube socks.

  6. We have some of those too hanging in the laundry room from when I enjoyed the country style of decorating. It's not my style anymore but I still think they're cute so hence the reason they are in the laundry room instead of family room! Loved your story! :)

  18. The 'long john's' look great Ann. Would be a nice little project to do with the kids to make dolls clothes. Nights are getting longer and colder here too. I'm always ready for the winter to arrive after a long busy summer...but it always seems to last too long.. :-(
